I took my children - 3 and 6 - shoe shopping the other night. Both had near meltdowns by the time we were leaving - shoeless. It’s my fault. I should have prepped them more and had an idea of what both wanted. But the fact is - I know my son REALLY needs a pair of sandels and possibly new tennis shoes. My daughter actually doesn’t need much - a new pair of tennis shoes if I can get her to wear them.
My mother in law suggested talking with them and making plans for the next trip. I thought it would be a brilliant idea to show them the shoes online, or maybe order them online, rather than do another trip.
Now, my daughter wants to get on the shopping sites and look for “stuff” every day. Her latest plan is to find a sticker book for an upcoming trip. She was hysterical looking at the shoes and books - “No. I want the other one.” “Does that one come in my size?” “I want ocean shoes.” “No, I don’t want that now. Let’s look at another one.”
I’m doomed. Good thing I haven’t allowed my computer to record credit card numbers, my mom informed me. Or I would be receiving mysterious packages in the mail soon!

That’s funny. . . lots of things to look forward to ;0)
